Are you using some screen mode different to 80x25? Do you know if your video card is VESA compliant, if that's the case, does this board include any VESA driver in your disks? It really sounds like your card have some problems to be 100% VGA compatible. If you can't solve it fill a bug report (the form is in the Alt-Space menu) and find what model is your video card.
