    This mail is addressed to Shawn. (I dunno how to address
a message to a specific person in a mailing list).
    I thank Shawn for his wonderful product, Allegro, which
is the best graphics/game library I've seen to date.
 
Please clarify if the following is a bug in the play_sample
routine.
 
The example (ex16.c I think) for playing .wav files has a pan
parameter. This does not seem to have any effect and only the
1st 10 seconds or so the the 3 min. wave file is played. Is
this a known bug?
