I have had a problem compiling Allegro 2.2.  I have successfully
compiled the beta release, however.

The problem is on line #235 of src/djgpp/bank.S.  The error
message says that there is character 0x7F on this line, and
everything after this point is ignored.  I checked this line,
and I see no sign of this character.

Does anybody have any comments or suggestions?
