(what do I need to download?) You're confusing DJGPP with gcc. DJGPP is currently at version 2.01, and if you want to upgrade from version 2.00, you will need to download a completely fresh distribution. The latest version of the FAQ (v2/faq210b.zip) has details on this, but basically there were enough changes made to the library code that mixing versions can cause subtle and hard to debug problems. If you're talking about just the gcc compiler, then there is no reason why you can't just download the new 2.7.2.1 binaries and go off from there. :) Of course, the new version was built with DJGPP v2.01, so you should get that if you don't already have it. -- John M.
