You're right, arena does GIFs. What has been made is simply an attempt to port Arena, It wouldn't be correct to talk about a "DOS version". The Unix version is still a beta-release. There's no wm (Windows Manager) the application use all the Display space alone. It's buggy too. I realize of all these problems, but the sense of the original message was simply to investigate if a broader porting operation can make sense inside the Internet community. Of course there're other better source-code that do web browsing available (Xmosaic, Anaya etc.) but they all use Motif (14Mbyte lib on DJGPP). Suggestions are welcome. Thanks,
