I second this. IMHO, splitting the group would be a serious mistake, and
would either lead to massive crossposting or to the main "newbie" group
degenerating into something less useful than at present. I'm generally
strongly against any form of 'censorship', but I would be happy with
some amount of retro-moderation, as long as someone can be found to do
it (since we still don't have a volunteer, this seems to a major
stumbling block with the plan :-)
