Please, correct me if I'm wrong, because my archives of DJGPP are decompressed then tar'ed + rar'ed. ;))) (the best way to achieve BEST comp.) BTW, try to RAR a -s -r -md1024 -m5 [archive] (on OS/2 and FreeBSD rar's) after you have decompressed some part of DJGPP and you feel the DIFFERENCE between ZIP and RAR (about 40-60% smaller file).
