Because I have now no clue, what the reason for this is, please do the fllowing: run RHIDE with the "-d" switch and redirect stderr to a file: redir -e err rhide -d YOUR_PROJECT Now in RHIDE compile only the file mbkgnd.c with "Alt+F9" and then exit RHIDE. Now post the contents of the file 'err'.
