You must use tabs (ASCII 9) as separators some editors just converts it to spaces and is hard to know if you currently have tabs or spaces. One solution is to use RHIDE with Use Tabs on or just use the Compact text option to convert spaces in tabs. (If you use the last option set the tab size to a right value, for example if you have 8 spaces of separation use 8 but if you have only 5 use 5).
