FAIK crypt is regulated by US Federal law. Crypt, and any other encryption software, cannot be exported from the US without specific licenses for the distributor and the recipient. Indeed the government is trying to stop the author of the PGP(?) public key encryption from distributing his algorithm. -- Art S.
