Under United States law and Federal Communication Commission regulations, it is illegal to send unsolicited transmissions to a telephone facsimile device. The relevant law is the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991. I don't recall the exact fine and/or jail term involved, but it's enough to make what you suggest a _very_ expensive undertaking. If you don't give me one good reason not to, in exactly one day I will forward a copy of this message to the F.C.C.
