I believe GDBM (a GNU database package) has been ported to DJGPP. I've never used it, so your milage may vary. I'm pretty sure you can get GDBM at the same place you got DJGPP. http://oak.oakland.edu/pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/ seems to be about the most up to date mirror I've found.
