Yes, of course you are right Eli. My response was emotionally charged,
for which I apologize to everyone. I think I could have qualified my
statement, but it gets a little long winded: "I think everyone should
feel free to participate in on-topic conversation, but if you plan on 
participating in a long stubborn argument, then you should be prepared
with more than second hand information. Otherwise I'll take your argument
less seriously, or may even become annoyed by it."

Yes. This is a skill that I first noticed (and admired) in DJ a long time
ago, and now you. It takes something real to answer questions day after day
in a flame-free, noncondescending way. I'll try your advice, but in the
meantime, I think I'll dig out an old mood ring and attach it to my 
computer. If the ring is purple it won't allow me to post or send email.
