I just want say what a great newsgroup this is. I've been lurking for the
past six months or so and have noticed an unusual lack of flames and
RTFM!'s in this group. 
I've learned an incredible amount just by watching for responses to
questions that I myself had, and was especially surprised by the patience
with which they were answered. (DJGPP...how to install? Allegro...make
problem! etc.) Talk about tech support! you couldn't ask for any better.
