I'll answer what little I do know and hopefully someone can clarify for us. Kurt Hausler (kurt AT deepsouth DOT co DOT nz) spake thus: : Hi. I have got both rsxntdj1 and the package windows32api-0.1.2 of : the net in the last few days and I want to know the following: : What are the advantages and disadvantages of each? : Are they supposed to work together? I don't think so. Programs developed with the cygnus tools can access the win32 api and cygnus' api as well. Well actually, I suppose you could use functions from rsxntdj1 in the same program as well. I'm sure they overlap a bunch though. : Is the windows32api package supposed to be hosted on a UNIX system? No. This package is a port of the GNU development tools to windows 95 and NT. Similar to the way djgpp is the dos port of these tools. : Which is better? : I have got windows apps to compile under rsxntdj but I am unsure of : how to set up the windows32-api package as it looks like it needs a : UNIX style shell to run the setup script. Any advice on this matter? Read the instructions on installing? 8^) I'm about to do it myself, so feel free to bug me(maybe we'll get some of the same errors, :) : Thanks a lot, : Kurt Hausler -- #include #include void main(geek *code) { // pointer points to: Danny Rathjens GCS/M/S d+(-) s+:- a-- C+++>$ ULSC++>+++$ P+?
