Editing DJGPP.ENV's ``greek'' was identified as a frequent culprit :>for problems in many installation, so I definitely don't recommend that. I think I may know what causes that, if you add a semi-colon adn then a constant path instead of removing the %:\>DJGPP% [greek] it will cause problems, however replacing it with the absolute path worked fine for me. :>If you want to investigate why didn't your installation work without :>editing DJGPP.ENV, I'd be glad to help you. No investigation needed, I placed the DJGPP distribution using the base path of C:\PROG, but put DJGPP.ENV in C:\. I have system I use to keep my computer running good, it keeps me from having excess files, etc. Part of it is having all system related files , batch, etc.. in C:\. It works fine as is, as it should. In fact, if your not supposed to do that, then why does it explain how in the DJGPP.ENV file?
