I haven't the time to check DJ's complete ftp-site, but I can't imagine, that there is a 'binutils.gz' file. May be you got the '.gz'-file from a GNU-site but this is even worst, because you will NOT be able to compile it for DJGPP in a simple way. The port for the binutils 2.7 to DJGPP is already done and is available as a compiled binary archive and a archive with the sources which includes all the neccessary changes to compile under and for DJGPP. These two archives can be found on any SimtelNet mirrors in /pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/v2gnu Robert -- ***************************************************************** * Robert Hoehne, Fakultaet fuer Mathematik, TU-Chemnitz-Zwickau * * Post: Am Berg 3, D-09573 Dittmannsdorf * * e-Mail: Robert DOT Hoehne AT Mathematik DOT TU-Chemnitz DOT DE * * WWW: http://www.tu-chemnitz.de/~rho * *****************************************************************
