It's an Iomeda Ditto 800, so it's a small light box with a seperate PSU and a parallel lead hanging off it. 400Mb to a tape, but of course the manufacturers claim 800Mb with compression! Anyway, I can take it round a friend's house and take a copy of his entire HDD if I want (ask first, kids!), at a rate of about 5megs a minute, then take it home again... and it works as a backup device, too! It's worth about a hundred quid, but I got it free (smug) ABW -- "Simply drag your mother in law's cellphone number from the Address Book to the Laser Satellite icon, and the Targeting Wizard will locate her. Then follow the onscreen prompts for gigawattage and dispersion pattern..." (Windows for Early Warning and Defence User's manual P385) Alaric B.
