Game Music System is an FM tracker with these major features: * Supports Adlib, Soundblaster, and Soundblaster Pro I and II as separate modes. * Compose in 18-channel stereo (when in one of the Soundblaster Pro modes). * Public domain play routine, with full source code. * Open module and instrument formats, fully documented. * A sane user interface. The most important enhancements in BETA1 are: * Works in protected mode with DJGPP 2.0 (as well as in real mode with Borland 3.1). * Samples can be played in parallel with the FM music. * Music "subroutines" can temporarily divert from the main tune to play a subtune. * FM effects (lasers, etc) can be handled by the music driver. * Additional editing functions.
