I encountered some problems..... RHIDE 1.0 refuses to link my project. When building a project within RHIDE I get gcc error messages that the linker cannot find my external functions or variables. I can get around this by first generating a makefile, exit RHIDE, and then "make" the project outside RHIDE. The project will then compile/link with no errors or warnings. But inside RHIDE it will not. It worked fine in beta5 though. I once had a similar problem in RHIDE beta5 when I replaced one of my c files with an asm file (e.g. myfile.c -> myfile.s), compiled, and then switched back to the c file. The same linker errors occurred (sometimes I got random compiler errors!). This could then be solved by deleting all object files AND project files and start a new project from scratch. This will not work in 1.0. Is it a bug or is it just me ? Is RHIDE screwing with the object/project files. ? If I cant fix this I must switch IDE, which I regret as I think RHIDE is great. regards J
