Not a chance, you need to create your own mouse pointer for the resolution you wish to use. As a matter of fact if you would look at the sources of Allegro 2.1 , a graphics library for djgpp v2, you will be able to get the idea behind creating a mouse pointer phenomenan for the extended modes.
