I assume that there's some overlap there.  Probably 700-750 all told?

How many people voted for the newsgroup, and of those, how many people
aren't subscribed to any lists?  I fit in both categories.  Combining
all the above info would probably give a minimum to the number of
readers.  Bare minimum--the newsgroup is carried by most major sites,
and may well have hundreds of thousands of readers.
