Not necessarily. The newsgroup is crosslinked to the mailing list, so what appears on one _will_ appear on the other. The only problem is that the server that handles the crossposting (delorie.com) has a relatively slow Internet link, so it can be up to two days before a message emailed to the list gets posted to the newsgroup, and vice versa. However, this doesn't mean that the newsgroup is slower than the mailing list. If you post to the newsgroup, people who read it will see your message first, and people who read the list will see your message later. If you email the list, list readers will see the message first, and the newsgroup people later. I, for example, read the newsgroup. > PS: I will be sub to the mailing for a while.
