It said run make.exe, right?? I unzipped it : (yup, used -d), but no make.exe ;-?. So what do I do, get the make.exe : from djggp/bin. I run it and it asks me for parameters, huh? I go to DOS : and look under make -h. I messed with this for a while and finally, no : errors :-}. On the other hand nothing really did happen. Does anyone have : the executables for allegro that I can download?? This make stuff sucks : :-p. If the executables are nowhere to be downloaded, can someone tell me : what parameters are used, or what I'm doing wrong. Sorry about all those : little faces, but that's what I feel like right now (making faces :-) From scratch: 1) Download and unpack DJGPP 2) Download and unpack the Make utility 3) Download and unpack Allegro 4) Go to the Allegro directory and type 'make'. It shouldn't need any parameters - everything it needs to know is in the makefile. And it should be obvious that something's happening... the screen should fill with filenames, and eventually it should say that it's done. If you're using DJGPP v2.01, you'll need to modify the file bank.s before it will compile properly. -- George Foot /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ |""""""""""""""""""""""| >Email: george DOT foot AT merton DOT ox DOT ac DOT uk < |Snail Mail:(*) | > or: mert0407 AT sable DOT ox DOT ac DOT uk < | _ George Foot | > Web: http://users.ox.ac.uk/~mert0407/ < |(@) Merton College | > Ftp: mc31.merton.ox.ac.uk (#) < |~~~~ Oxford OX1 4JD | \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ |______________________| (#) Theoretically... || (*) Please allow 28 days for delivery
