When I link them with a program written in DJGPP v.2, I get messages like function.c(.text+0x30): undefined reference to `_iob' function.c(.text+0x93): undefined reference to `_ctype' Can anything be done without the source of the problematic library functions? As far as I could guess from the source of input-output and type conversion functions in DJGPP v.1 and v.2, they do the things in a different way. But perhaps there is some way to show to the old library functions the correct data in the new system? Please answer directly to my address: lchmiel AT ippt DOT gov DOT pl as I'm not subscribed to the mailing lists. Thanks! Leszek Chmielewski P.S. Previously I have asked the same question with reference to the X11 libraries, but now I see that the problem is broader. ____________________________________________________ e-mail: lchmiel AT ippt DOT gov DOT pl Institute of Fundamental Technological Research, PAS and Association for Image Processing (member of IAPR) Swietokrzyska 21, PL 00-049 Warsaw phone/fax (+48) (22) 26 98 02 _____________________________________________________
