AFAIK, there is nothing special about Windows 95, so the FAQ section about system configuration applies to that platform as well. I never heard anyone telling that those guidelines are wrong on Windows 95. > The docs recommend a 4 meg RamDrive->TEMPDIR and a 4 meg cache but I'm > wondering how I set that up for the Dos Box or if it's even possible. The disk cache is installed automatically by Windows 95, so you don't have to bother about the cache (unless you disabled it). > Also, do I set the cache to ONLY cache the D:\ drive???.. Leave the cache settings at their default (which caches all the drives). > ALSO can anyone tell me of a local site in Australia that mirrors DJ?? Here's three in your region that it mentions: ftp.bhp.com.au, directory /pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp ftp.iniaccess.net.au, directory /pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp ftp.vuw.ac.nz, directory /pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp
