(SimTel is an old U.S. army site which has been closed for several years.) It has many mirrors around the world. Look in the /gnu/djgpp directory. From Portugal, try: ftp://ftp.ip.pt/pub/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp/ ftp://ftp.ua.pt/pub/si... ftp://ftp.rediris.es/mirror/simtelnet/gnu/djgpp ftp://ftp.grolier.fr/pub/si... ftp://ftp.ibp.fr/pub/simtelnet/... ...... ftp://ftp.simtel.net/pub/sim... This last address connects to a number of U.S. sites, and, what with the time zone difference, it may be just as fast as a European server. Up to a few months ago, the guy who is in charge of SimTelNet worked for a different company and they have what they still call the "SimTel" archive. (although he claims they have to give up the name) They are at ftp.coast.net and I think the directory is "/Coast/vendors", but I couldn't get in to check just now. I'm sure they also have mirrors. I think that at least one of them has a files-by-mail service. -- "The Misinformation Highway Begins Here." -- Monty Python Web Site (http://www.pythonline.com)
