Ummm...its not good to call the programmers of iostream 'fools', especially if your only a third year student... :) I can guarantee that there is a way of resetting and open file for re-reading, but I have not a clue (ie: I can't remember... :) how to do it...look at the docs, I am sure they will tell you...
