My friend asked me to install DJGPP on his 386DX40 8MB computer, no FPU. I've written a simple hello proggy to show him how to debug using GDB. In hello there was a piece of code: float _float1, _float2; printf("%f + %f = %f", _float1, _float2, _float1 + _float2); test_call(); Now when I set a breakpoint on test_call() and 'run' the program, GDB signalled that 'Program has exited wit SIGFPE'. I thought I made a mistake somewhere (?) but the program was working ok from cmdline. Then it ocurred to me that it might be a problem with the FPU emulation. Is it?
