From memory, the dos extender for Watcon (DOS4GW) only supports up to 16 Mb RAM, and to get more than this, you have to license their upgraded extender (DOS4G or something). DJGPP handles up to 256Mb so it was a much better choice from that point of view. Besides, DJGPP is just, well, better... :) Leathal.
