However no ftp address was given and so I would be grateful if somebody here could send me its ftp address. I check newsgroups less often than my e-mail and so please can I have the ftp address e-mailed to me. Sorry to be a newbie, but I hadn't heard of djgpp before and so I am assuming it is a C or C/C++ compiler. Actually both C and C++ as well as Objective "C" are included. DJGPP is a free 32bit protected mode compiler which generates 32bit protected mode DPMI client programs. You can also download a free DPMI provider in case you do not have another DPMI server available. (Windows 3.xx and Windows 95 provide DPMI to programs run under them but at the DOS prompt you need a DPMI server also.) The location for download is either: http://www.delorie.com --OR-- ftp://ftp.coast.net/SimTel/vendors/djgpp You want to download the readme.1st file to know the required and optional files to download and you want to get the V2 rather than V1 release. -- Art S.
