Well, it certainly *can't* be a problem with Microsoft - it must have been
caused by Netscape browsers or Java or OS/2 or NetWare or Apple or Sun or . . .

Probably Java - it's *so* dangerous that I read in Infoworld that the NTS 4.0
license warns the installer not to run Java-based applications for mission-critical
applications such as air traffic control or nuclear reactor management.  Yeah,
Java's *much* more dangerous than C++ or C or Visual Basic.  Give me a break.

I guess they're talking about those rogue Java applets that the nuclear reactor
managers are loading from their control stations while surfing the Web.

I can hear air traffic controllers - "Roger delta one niner, you're cleared for
takeoff just as soon as this applet loads from Gamelan - oops, my system seems
to be hanging, well go ahead and take off, I'm sure nothing's coming."

It ought to come with a warning not to run Microsoft Word!
