I've been experiencing some rather unusual difficulties with gcc. Every now and then, the compiler just freezes while doing its stuff. Since I work under DOS, this forces me to reboot my machine, and often I find my file system to have be corrupted on recovery(recently I just lost 19megs of data scattered here and there on my hard drive, and some files have just become garbage). What I normally do then, is just recompile the files, and most of time it will work the second time around. I don't think it has anything to do with my code, because I encountered some similar problems when I compiled the allegro library. Any thoughts on to solve this problem? Thanks, Raja
