Yes, it is useful I was initially annoyed by Eli's frequent read the FAQ replies, but soon changed my mind. After asking some of my own questions and receiving the read the FAQ replies, I think Eli's posts are very helpful. In a few instances, I have read the FAQ, asked the question, and then be referred back to a section in the FAQ that while it doesn't explicitly answer my question contains enough info about how things work that I can come up with my own answer.
