I was the guy who adapted Ulrich Leodolter's work (the first Xlibemu) to the version available at asterix.inescn.pt or groucho.idt-isep.ipp.pt (in Portugal). The main problem with Xlibemu is not DJGPP v2.0, but GRX 2.0. The new GRX 2.0 version is so different than GRX 1.x that many things were completely broken, particularly font stuff! As I am not aware of the changes, I am not able to do it... I guess that somebody with a good understanding of GRX 2.0 and the diffs related to GRX 1.x could do it easily!? >The upside of making Xlib compile with DJGPP v2 is of course that >everybody can benefit from it, and thus has a great value in itself. But I don't know if it is possible to use old GRX 1.x with DJGPP v2.0 -- is it? This could be a reasonable workaround... >Note that AFAIK nobody has yet tried to build Emacs with XWindows support >under DJGPP v2. I will also help as much as I can, of course :-) Regards, Antonio Costa.
