Have you checked the C++ newsgroup lately to have a feel for the "bug continuing crisis" that has "no bounds." So, of course, problems always arise. I have a feel from your posting that you expect some DJGPP version to be completely bug-free in some future version that everyone can go home after that. As long as you have software you'll have bugs and incompatibilities here and there with each maintenance release or version addressing different aspects of answering to these issues. So, cool it down and learn to live with it, and if you are encountering some problems post them, and judging from how things go around here, you can expect a reply to your query before you say the word "bug." -- Maan M.
