But you may be right if you're talking about > error-freeness, but not compatability with other .ZIPs. True, but IBM made the first REAL pc's, but other vendors made more reliable ones after IBM did. Some were even more IBM-compatible than the IBM machines were. PS/2, for example, didn't have an EGA-compatible VGA card, but all the other vendors did. I've seen a lot of cases where pkzip couldn't handle the stress I put it under making djgpp distributions - hundreds or thousands of files. InfoZip worked like a charm.
