OK, I found it, pulled downthe new archive. of course, since DOSEMU doesn't even USE cwsdpmi as it's dpmi provider it makes no difference to my original issue. But, as it happens, now that I'm usinig the new CWSDPMI, another problem I was having has disappeared. Might it have been a CWSDPMI bug? I was working on compiling BEAV with djgpp (FYI, BEAV, which stands for Binary Editor And Viewer really NEEDS to be compiled with djgpp, since it otherwise can't edit large files because lower memory may just not be big enough). I had gotten it to where it appeared to work, then I constructed a 6-mb file for testing, and found that sometimes seemingly benign commands caused a segmentation violation. Couldn't figure it out. But when I upgraded to the new CWSDPMI the entire problem went away. A nice bonus of porting the program to djgpp is that by the time I got through adapting the display-management code to djgpp's libc facilities for displaying text it SCREAMS--when compiled wiht -O2 it's vastly faster at scrolling through the file than the MSC-compiled version I've been using. Congrats on the good work, DJ, Charles, and the rest of the gang!
