I can't run GDB in a Windows DOS shell. If I write a simple "Hello World" program, and compile it with debugging info included, then under GDB if I try a simple "break main" and "run", I get a SIGSEGV signal, and it won't go any further. Doing the same in stand-alone DOS works fine. Is this just the way it is, or am I doing something wrong? Ta. Tony Lewis anthonyl AT defcen DOT gov DOT au
