Protected mode memory is virtual, right. But the memory below 1M is mapped to the right adresses. That means you can compute your adress that way: segment * 16 + offset (which is the protected mode adress). Now you can farpoke/farpeek to that adresses (or use dosmemput or near pointers, whatever you like).
