Under plain DOS, there is no way to redirect stderr to a file, and that's where all of gcc's error reports go. Use 'redir', which comes with DJGPP, to redirect stdout and stderr from DJGPP programs. >PS: Is there an explanation somewhere for the command line /W options? Are you referring to the warning options (-Wall, -Wpedantic, etc.)? The gcc docs IMHO contain a fairly complete list of these options and their effects. John
