The patch is in the file fcntl.pat at the same place (by Bill Currie). What is still needed to get the full functionality is a serial port driver for more than one ports, and maybe interrupt driven output. And a halfway portable way to set the port parameters, for which I have not yet found a satisfying solution. Any ideas welcome.
