I don't know what MMX is ;) But I think it's something like the VIS (Visual Instruction Set) that's included in the 64-bit Sun UltraSPARC processors. There's also something similar in SGI MIPS processors, a set of instructions for graphics acceleration. I didn't know Intel was finally getting onto that level.. ;)
