I can compile it with no errors. If I open the file as a project, say test, and include test.cc as an item, problem occurs during the linking stage. In the messages widow, it shows c:/dj pp/bin\ d.exe: annot open outp t file est: Pe mission denied EACCES) (Note: some of the letters are disappered in the message line. This occurs only on my laptop, but not on an IBM PS/2.) If I change the target name to test1, it runs perfectly. However, if I include a file, abc.cc in another directry into this project file, the messages window says " can not find the file abc.o ". Is my setting not correct ? Edward.
