Then I wrote a Hello, World program and compiled it. Fine. But when I run it the MS-DOS window crashes and I get the following message : Program aborted - illegal operation If the program persists, look at Win95 help... The program encountered an unspecified exception. Error location : 1EF3:0158 Active interrupts : none. (translated from French) I have a Pentium 75 and run windows95. I have 8 Mbytes of RAM. I was using a DOS window in Win95 (default settings). I tried the same after booting only DOS, to no avail. go32 output : go32 version 1.12.maint3 Copyright DJ Delorie Here is a telling message. Get V2 (make certain it is dated later than Feb. 22, 1996) version 1.12 is no longer actively supported. If the problem persists, post again. [SNIP] With all this, I hope one post will be enough ! Sorry, maybe, maybe not!?!? So if anybody can help me out, many thanks in advance. Alix Martin alix AT rezo DOT net -- Art S.
