That same argument could read "you might as well have Linux". I don't want to start an OS flame-war (again). The purpose of DJGPP is to provide gnu software on *MS-DOS*. If you switch operating systems, of course some other package will work better. That's not the point. If you *are* using ms-dos (have to or want to), djgpp is there for you.
