I generally keep a mailing list of the perpetrators of personal email 
spamming and somewhat frequently send them a mail I wrote some years ago 
spelling out in very wordy speach plus other stuff (10K) that what they 
are doing is wrong and to please stop it now.

Since then I have had most of the messages being to bounce, hopefully 
meaning that they have tucked tail and run to shit on someone elses 
yard.  By myself I could never have much effect but as a group we are 
the all-powerful.
