I would like to get a version of perl up and running with it in a DOS box, under windows, and get it talking to some windows apps, but to make sure I am not re-inventing any previous wheels, does anyone have any idea about : 1 - is there a djgpp v2 port of perl v4.036 or later ? 2 - is there any way to get a djgpp program to talk windows DDE or NETDDE ? 3 - is any of the tcpip work currently being done by djgpp'ers looking at using the winsock.dll interface ? 4 - is there any way of giving djgpp v2 programs some hooks so that they can communicate with windows dll's - such as winsock, and others ? thanks in advance for any help, michaelh (hennessy AT ozemail DOT com DOT au)
