I have the same setup--Warp+fixpack 17, but I haven't had any problem using djgpp, with make or without. After reading this posting, I had a gut feeling of what went wrong: it must be DPMI related. I tried changing the DPMI_DOS_API setting of the DOS session from 'ENABLED' to the default 'AUTO', then ran make. The machine instantly rebooted. :-( So, try changing DPMI_DOS_API to 'ENABLED'. I changed it in the first place because that's the only way to get Borland compilers to work. -- Johnnie Leung
