It also produces slightly faster code than Watcom on average. I have a P66 and get 28fps(map test1 at start). Maybe you have a slow video card or something? Quake is a true 3d game engine and I won't try to explain why but it will be a fair bit slower than a DOOM style engine. Just as a note I read that 3DRealms said that when Prey comes out a Pentium-90 will be the system requirments. jasonk AT tnet DOT net
